 NMG PH – General Rules & Regulations (Serious RP)  

1. Roleplay Standards

Always stay in character. Out-of-character (OOC) talk should only happen via appropriate channels (/ooc or Discord).  No Fail RP. All actions must be realistic and grounded in your character’s background and abilities.  Value of Life (VoL). Always act as if your character values their life. Don’t rush into life-threatening situations unrealistically.  New Life Rule (NLR). After your character dies, they forget the events leading up to their death. You may not return to the scene for at least 15 minutes.  

2. Combat & Crime Rules

No Random Deathmatch (RDM). You must have valid RP reason for any violent act.  No Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM). Do not use vehicles as weapons without valid RP justification.  Initiation Required. Robberies, kidnappings, or hostile actions require verbal initiation and reasonable interaction time.  Crime Limits. Major crimes (e.g., bank robberies, hostage situations) must involve prior planning and be executed realistically.  No Cop Baiting. Do not provoke police just to create a chase or scene.  

3. Civilian Conduct

Respect Traffic Laws. Drive realistically and follow road rules unless RP dictates otherwise.  No Unrealistic Jobs/Weapons. Civilians must earn weapons legally or through realistic criminal RP. No abuse of inventory.  Business RP Encouraged. Civilians can create and operate businesses, subject to city approval and RP depth.  

4. Law Enforcement Rules

Follow SOPs. All law enforcement officers must follow their department’s standard operating procedures.  Use Force Responsibly. Escalation of force must be justified and properly roleplayed.  No Meta-Gaming. Do not use information from streams, Discord, or OOC chat to gain in-character advantage.  

5. EMS/Medical RP

Serious Medical RP Required. Treat injuries based on location, severity, and type.  No Unrealistic Revives. EMS can only revive when it makes sense (e.g., not if decapitated or headshotted).  Medical Cooldown. Players must wait a realistic amount of time before re-engaging in RP after serious injury.  

6. Server Conduct

Respect All Players. Harassment, hate speech, and toxic behavior will not be tolerated.  No Power Gaming. Don’t force actions or outcomes onto others without their RP input.  No Meta-Gaming. Keep in-character and out-of-character knowledge separate.  No Exploiting or Cheating. Any use of glitches, bugs, or third-party tools is a bannable offense.  

7. Character Creation & Development

Realistic Characters Only. No supernatural abilities, overpowered personas, or meme characters.  Stick to One Life. Each character must have a consistent story and motivations.  Character Switches. Cannot switch characters during active RP or to gain information/advantage.  

8. Community Expectations

Discord is Mandatory. All players must be in the city Discord while playing.  Report Issues Properly. Use the ticket system or admin support channels for all complaints.  Admin Decisions are Final. Staff decisions must be respected. Constructive feedback is welcomed respectfully.
